In the next coming months, female Vietnamese B2B entrepreneurs will play a key role in some future
projects supported by the Danish B2B (Business-to-Business) Program in Vietnam.
Located in Hanoi, the Danish Embassy has just signed a contract with the Hanoi Young Business Association.
A qualified group from Hanoi Network for Entrepreneur Women, HNEW, will be in focus.
Rasmus Vaupel, Counselor at the Embassy of Denmark and responsible for the B2B program said “the staff of
H.N.E.W. has a great network that can help find Vietnamese partners for Danish companies. The Embassy of Denmark
is pleased to be able to support Vietnamese women in their B2B efforts to build up the country."
Overall, the Danish Embassy will arrange seminars in the next twelve months to encourage Vietnamese partner
companies to hire or promote female entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the Danish Embassy is hoping to create a mentor arrangement, where women entrepreneurs teach
other women with the potential to be managers in the B2B segment.
The B2B Program’s strategy is to let female Vietnamese entrepreneurs arrange meetings with visiting Danish
companies who want a long-term partnership with a Vietnamese company.
If the resources are available, the Danish Embassy will work to attract Danish companies with female
managers also.
