The announcement marks Pointsec as the first multinational organizations to run Middle East, Asia Pacific and Australia operations from DIC, according to the press release.
"We are very happy that Pointsec is establishing its hub for its Middle East, Africa and Asia operations in DIC," said Jamal Abdulsalam, Executive Director of Dubai Internet City.
"Its base in Dubai Internet City will help to reinforce and enhance its ability to deliver solutions and services globally.
Pointsec's new move points to Dubai Internet City's rising profile as a potential global base for multinational ICT corporations. We look forward to providing them with the support and services to enhance their operations," he added.
Pointsec has also announced appointments to its senior management team in the Asia & Africa hub office at Dubai led by Vice President Sascha Beyer.
