SunTrust Banks Inc. has hired Masius as its B2B (Business-to-Business) communications agency. Based in Atlanta, SunTrust recently commissioned Y&R as its new lead ad agency.

Since 1965, SunTrust had been a client of Atlanta ad agency WestWayne Inc. SunTrust said it picked Masius from four finalists in its selection process.

"Masius' proven track record and deep knowledge of financial services marketing makes them an ideal partner for addressing the specific marketing needs of our business-to-business segments," said Craig Kelly, SunTrust chief marketing officer.

SunTrust said Masius will have strategic communications responsibilities for SunTrust's commercial, corporate and investment banking lines of business.

Masius, with offices in New York and London, is the corporate, business and financial services agency of Paris-based Publicis Groupe.
