i2 Technologies and Patni Computer Systems announce an alliance to provide the B2B sector with customized solutions using i2 Master Data Management solutions.

Through this alliance i2 and Patni intend to combine their data management expertise, world-class application integration and architecture capabilities, as well as industry specific process knowledge.

The Patni and i2 alliance is intended to deliver Master Data Management solutions to help companies better manage enterprise data across disparate systems and business processes.

i2 MDM is designed to enable enterprises to control and synchronize master data and obtain better visibility, planning, and decision making. Synchronized master data can improve supply chain management, purchasing decisions, inventory management, financial control, and after-sales service.

It is also designed to enable enterprise-wide processes such as new product introduction, and build composite applications.
