iFone has selected End2End to power its B2B (business-2-business) and
direct-to-consumer (D2C) portals.
The two companies have formed a strategic partnership that supports iFone's
strategy to expand the availability of its popular games offering through
dedicated iFone channels on operator portals, as well as through a D2C games
portal, which enables end-users to download iFone games from their website.
End2End provides iFone with a turnkey managed service solution, consisting of
web and WAP portals managed from End2End's Content Delivery Solution (CDS). The
CDS enables iFone to manage all of its B2B and D2C portals from a single
solution, enabling efficient management of their offering.
The partnership also enables iFone to leverage End2End's comprehensive
reporting and business intelligence capabilities to develop end-user profiles
and understand usage trends.
"Our B2B and D2C games offering is key to increasing the accessibility of our
games, as well as enabling us to attain valuable business intelligence on the
market and end-users who buy our games," said Morgan O'Rahilly, Founder & CEO
of iFone.
"End2End has an excellent track record as an innovative and high
quality managed service solution provider to many of the leading companies in
mobile data and therefore was the logical choice as a strategic partner for
iFone's B2B and D2C portals."
"Our partnership with iFone is an excellent example of how mobile content
publishers can proactively strengthen their offering and differentiation in the
market," said Atte Miettinen, Chief Marketing Officer of End2End. "This
agreement also demonstrates the flexibility and benefits of our Content
Delivery Solution for content developers, publishers and aggregators to take
their offerings to the next level."
Telefonica Móviles in Spain is the first mobile operator to deploy iFone's B2B
proposition. End2End is handling the systems integration to the Telefonica
network on behalf of iFone.
