Ariba organizes Ariba LIVE 2005

Ariba LIVE 2005 is a B2B management event that features more than 50 sessions and conferences. Presenters include Walt Disney Co., Merck, Tyco International, Diebold, HP, General Dynamics, Conoco-Phillips, Alcoa, Gartner Inc., Forrester Research and a few more.

Ariba Inc., the leading spend management solutions provider, has confirmed additional presenters for Ariba LIVE 2005, scheduled for April 25-28 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Ariba has also increased the number of breakout sessions, now totaling more than 50 and covering a broad range of spend management topics such as business travel, global supplier integration, effective trading relationships, procurement outsourcing, and more.

Keynote presenters will include Bill Patrizio, senior vice president, strategic sourcing and procurement, The Walt Disney Company; Willie Deese, chief procurement officer, Merck & Co; Shelley Stewart Jr., vice president, supply chain, Tyco International (US) Inc; John M. Crowther, vice president and chief information officer, Diebold, Inc.; and Andy Kyte, vice president and fellow, Gartner, Inc.

In addition, Ariba executives Bob Calderoni, chairman and CEO; Dave McCormick , president and director; Craig Federighi, chief technology officer; and Michael Schmitt, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, will address attendees at the conference general session.

With the recent merger of Ariba and FreeMarkets, this year's event combines the best of the FreeMarkets WorldSOURCE conference with Ariba LIVE to create the world's premier spend management conference. More than 1000 attendees are expected, along with Ariba customers and partners, who represent the world's leading companies.
